The four star hotel, with luxurious four poster suites and captivating garden rooms with stunning views over the Dryfesdale Valley, will make not only the Bride and Groom feel special but will make each and everyone of their guests feel pampered.

The Best Western Dryfesdale Hotel does not offer wedding packages like most hotels, we tailor make every detail from individual menu choices through to choices of wines and individual room choice for each guest.

Our dedicated team are on hand to discuss, help, and support each Bridal Party to make sure the smallest details are exactly what you want. We are happy to welcome and show all our guests the facilities which we have to offer which makes a special award winning hotel the perfect venue for the perfect wedding day.

Wedding Reception


On arrival to the hotel, the Bridal Party and wedding guests will be greeted at the front door with a welcome drink and shown into our sumptuous lounges. On drier days guests are welcome to gather outside in our spectacular grounds, which can also provide the perfect backdrop for those special photographs.

The Wedding Line-up takes place in our grand reception area. The order normally takes place as follows:

  • Bridesmaid
  • Best Man

Wedding Breakfast

Our multi-award winning Kirkhill Suite will seat up to 130 for the meal and an extra 30 evening guests.

We do not have set menus, but instead, a list of dishes available for you to devise your own menu. Our head chef and his team will be more than happy to discuss your specific requirements including special dietary needs.


Before it is time for the evening guests to arrive we will arrange for your entertainment to be set up and serve your evening guests a welcome drink if required.
