Arrival

On arrival to the hotel, the Bridal Party and wedding guests will be greeted at the front door with a welcome drink and shown into our sumptuous lounges. On drier days guests are welcome to gather outside in our spectacular grounds, which can also provide the perfect backdrop for those special photographs.

Line Up

The Wedding Line-up takes place in our grand reception area. The order normally takes place as follows:

  • The Bride

  • Best Man

Wedding Breakfast

Our multi-award winning Kirkhill Suite will seat up to 130 for the meal and an extra 30 evening guests.

We do not have set menus, but instead, a list of dishes available for you to devise your own menu. Our head chef and his team will be more than happy to discuss your specific requirements including special dietary needs.

Evening

Before it is time for the evening guests to arrive we will arrange for your entertainment to be set up and serve your evening guests a welcome drink if required.

Wedding Facilities

Many couples have been fortunate enough to hold their wedding ceremony on our splendid lawn while others have enjoyed the ceremony in our conservatory which overlooks the rolling countryside and can seat up to 150 guests. We are able to cater for up to 150 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 180 for an evening reception. Our Kirkhill suite has its own private bar and boasts stunning views over the Dryfesdale Valley.

Our second function room the Glenlouis Suite can host 70 guests for a wedding breakfast meal with its own private bar and doors leading out directly onto the hotels gardens it is the perfect wedding suite for the perfect wedding day.

Our third suite is the Glenfarclas lounge perfect for intimate wedding meals upto 20 guests, this private suite boasts a real log burning fire and is perfect suite for private dining.

Gorgeously refurbished four-poster bridal suites offer the special couple the first class in opulence and luxury, while their guests are accommodated in spacious garden suites with stunning panoramic views of the Dryfesdale Valley.

The award winning Kirkhill Restaurant has recently and carefully been refurbished to carry on the feeling of luxury from the bedrooms and lounges, to the grandest room in this stunning country house.

The ability to seat up to 150 guests for the wedding reception in stunning surroundings with endless views of the rolling Scottish countryside ensures the bride and groom will be the centre of attention on their special day.

Alongside the Kirkhill Restaurant, we also have a classically themed private dining room, ‘The Glenfarclas Lounge’ which can seat up to 20 guests in comfort and style.or host a very intimate wedding ceremony for upto thirty guests.
