Restaurant
As well as the prestigious AA award, the restaurant has a high grading with Taste of Scotland.
Recently extended to provide a terrace area, the Kirkhill Restaurant looks onto breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Enhancing a corner of the dining room is a wonderfully French polished grand piano, which provides background music during our popular Sunday Lunches.
Open to both residents and non-residents, a full a la carte menu is available along with a daily changing Specials Menu. Vegetarians are well catered for, as are other dietary needs. In addition to this our expert flambé staff will be delighted to cook selected dishes at your table.
Our head chef and his team use only the freshest ingredients, carefully selected from local suppliers including Solway Salmon, Galloway Beef, Lockerbie Cheeses, plus delicious home made bread, all there to tempt the most discerning diner.
Prior to your meal our restaurant staff will serve you freshly made canapés and a pre-dinner drink in one of our lounges.
The Restaurant is open for lunch 12.00 noon - 2.00pm, and dinner 6.00pm - 9.00pm 7 days a week.
All prices include value added tax at 17.5%. There is no service charge; gratuities are at your own discretion. There is a minimum charge of £25.00. Please note the restaurant is non-smoking.
Special Occasions
For those special occasions we can offer larger parties exclusive use of the terrace. For parties of 10 and over our chef can prepare a special set menu to be served to your guests.
What ever the occasion you may be sure that the personal and professional service at the Dryfesdale will look after your every need.
