Dryfesdale Lodge Visitors Centre Trust – Lockerbie

Formerly a cemetary workers cottage, the Visitors Centres’ aim is to provide visitors and the general public information and advice regarding the history and area of Lockerbie, as well as local recreational facilities.

Old Blacksmith’s Shop – Gretna

Built around the original Blacksmith Shop, the world famous destination for eloping couples looking to be wed, the visitors centre contains a shops, an exhibtion detailing the story of Gretna Green and the Blacksmith’s Shop itself.

Mabie Farm Park – Nr Dumfries

Robert Burns Centre – Dumfries

This eighteenth century watermill, found on the west bank of the River Nith, houses an exhibition telling the story of Robert Burns’ time in Dumfries. The centre also features a restaurant, and in the evenings the film theatre shows the best in contemporary cinema.

Gracefield Arts Centre– Dumfries

Features exhibitions of work by local, to international, artists and craftmakers. Facilities include a craft shop, cafe and studios. Admission is free, studios and ground floor galleries are wheelchair accessible.

Dalton Pottery – Dalton Nr Lockerbie

One for all the family, Dalton Pottery has a childrens play park, cafe, giftshop, as well as the pottery itself where you can paint a pot to take home with you.

The Bakehouse Studio – Langholm
